1. Introduction

This page (together with the documents or information referred on it) sets out the terms and conditions under which you may use/make sure of our website eulawlive.com and the content/services available on the website ( “EU Law Live Content”). By accessing our website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of use (“Conditions”). These terms and conditions are only available in the English language.

The term “eulawlive.com” refers to the website eulawlive.com and mobile and online services offered on that website.

These terms and conditions apply to your use of eulawlive.com and all EU Law Live Content irrespective of the delivery platform or device you use to access it. By accessing eulawlive.com or any EU Law Content you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions you should not use eulawlive.com or access any EU Law Live Content and should not register during the free period. If you do not further agree to any amendment or update of the Conditions you should cancel your registration (if any) made during the free period.

EU Law Live may update or amend these terms and conditions for legal or regulatory reasons, or to reflect changes in our services or business practices. Section 11 below provides the date of the last amendment. You should regularly check Section 11 and these terms and conditions to see if any changes have been made. Any changes will become effective as soon as we post them on eulawlive.com.

We strongly recommend that you read these terms and conditions in their entirety. For further details of our registration and subscription options, please see our Subscription section in our website.

Unless you purchase a subscription to use eulawlive.com, your usage rights will be limited to free contents only.

2. Delivery and Returns

If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund. We will issue a refund for the purchase price of the item plus any applicable taxes to your original form of payment for items returned within 30 days from reception of your purchased item. All returned items must be in their original condition; shrink-wrapped products must be unopened. Shipping fees are not refunded.

Please print out the Shipping Confirmation email you received after the item(s) shipped. Include that printout in the box, and write your Order Number on the outside of the box. Returns should be sent to:

Please Note: Your packing slip is not a prepaid label. You will be required to pay for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

3. Access and Use

Our ability to invest in high-quality content depends on our users complying with this Section. Please read our Copyright Policy that summarises how you are allowed to use EU Law Live Content and provides guidance on the types of use we do not permit without the purchase of additional licences from EU Law Live. You agree that you will comply with our Copyright Policy.

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

The amount and types of EU Law Live Content that you can view, and the platforms on which you can view EU Law Live Content, depending on what type of user you are and what type of subscription (if any) you have. We can vary the access rights of registered users who are not accessing eulawlive.com through a paid subscription at any time and at our discretion.

We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period. We may restrict access to some parts of our site. Unless you purchase a subscription to use eulawlive.com, your usage rights will be limited, as set out at Settings. We offer various types of subscription: the options currently available are set out at www.eulawlive.com.

6. Third-Party Sites and Services

Eulawlive.com may contain links to other internet websites or online and mobile services provided by independent third parties, including websites of advertisers or sponsors (what we call “Third Party Sites”), either directly or through frames. Third-Party Sites may be co-branded with EU Law Live and so include EU Law Live’s trademarks.

It is your decision whether you purchase or use any third party products or services made available on or website via Third Party Sites. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to Third-Party Sites.

Copyright in any software that is made available for download from eulawlive.com belongs to EU Law Live or its suppliers.

Your use of the software is governed by the terms of any licence agreement that may accompany or be included with the software. Do not install or use any of this software unless you agree to such licence agreement. EU Law Live is not responsible for any technical or other issues that may happen if you download third-party software.

The Spanish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our site or EU Law Live Content although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these Conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country. Consequently, to the extent possible in the applicable jurisdiction, both you and EU Law Live agree that the courts of Spain will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these terms and conditions and their subject matter.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions, which will remain in full force and effect.

Failure by EU Law Live to exercise any right or remedy under these terms and conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. Headings in these terms and conditions are for convenience only and have no legal meaning or effect.
